《最令人懷念的時光(四)》

The most memorial time

好友Richard，來自蘇格蘭，是同學眼中的明星，歌唱、舞蹈、戲劇無不擅長，穿起蘇格蘭裙，就像他所屬民族，一眼看出引以為傲的文化、藝術、情感背後，同時也穿戴著無比沈重、哀愁的歷史情結。喜歡和他同唱《The Bonnie Banks O' Loch Lomond美麗的羅夢湖畔》。據說，兩百多年前，蘇格蘭為反抗英格蘭統治，一位戰敗的蘇格蘭戰士遭判處絞刑前，寫下了這首淒美、孤涼之歌，託囑獲釋鄉人將其轉交心愛女友，戰友經由大道返鄉，這歌如此唱道：

By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes. Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond. Where me and my true love were ever want to gae. On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond. 

依傍著美麗的湖畔和美麗山坡 艷陽照耀在羅曼湖上 那兒曾是我和我的摯愛最愛遊憩之處 在那美麗 美麗的羅夢湖畔

'Twas then that we parted in yon shady glen. On the steep, steep side o' Ben Lomond. Where in deep purple hue the highland hills we view. And the moon coming out in the gloaming. 

那是我倆分離的幽靜山谷 在陡峭的羅夢山邊 我們共賞深紫色的高地山丘 還有伴隨著黃昏升起的明月

The wee birdies sing and the wild flowers spring. And in sunshine the waters are sleeping. But the broken heart it kens nae second spring again. Tho' the waefu' may cease frae their greeting. 

這兒的小鳥歌唱 野花爭艷 陽光下的流水已經入夢 但我破碎的心知道 再也看不見春天 雖然悲傷會終止 憂愁也會停息

O', ye'll tak' the high road and I'll tak' the low road. And I'll be in Scotland afore year. But (for) me and my true love will never meet again. On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond. 

喔（吾友）你將行走大路 而我則取道幽路 我會早你一步回到蘇格蘭 但我和我的摯愛卻無法再相見 在那美麗 美麗的羅夢湖畔

人多時，把這曲子唱成「讚美詩」，獨處時，這首歌被你唱成「哀歌」——哀悼「失敗、失落、故鄉、友誼……。」你有同感於歌詞所說：「雖然悲傷會終止，憂愁也會停息，但你破碎的心知道，再也看不見春天。」但你打從心底相信，冬天終將過去，春天正輕搖著裙襬，向你遠遠地招手。
