In mistrust, chose to believe(二) Paul's model

沒有大創傷，永難體會被棄絕的心情。記得流離異鄉之時，數不清多少回傷心、煎熬、痛悔……，有時軟弱到身體發出陣陣寒意，全身顫抖無法克制，除了禱告、讀經，只能再禱告、再讀經……，總因為神的話，才一次次得著醫治、釋放。艱困時刻，腦中浮現都是老歌，想起「Helen H Lemmel」所寫的《Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus轉眼仰望耶穌》：

O soul, are you weary and troubled, No light in the darkness you see
There’s a light for a look at the Savior, And life more abundant and free

我的靈啊 你是否煩惱困苦，你的眼睛在黑暗中看不見亮光
當你仰望救主就得著光明，你的生命也更加豐盛與自由

Through death into life everlasting, He passed, and we follow Him there
Over us sin no more hath dominion, For more than conquerors we are

主已從死亡進入永生 我們將隨祂同享生命
我們再也不被罪所轄制 我們靠主已得勝有餘

His Word shall not fail you—He promised, Believe Him, and all will be well
Then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell

祂的話語 祂的應許永不失效，相信祂萬事都會好轉
快將祂全備的救恩 傳給瀕臨滅亡之人

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

轉眼仰望耶穌 定睛在祂奇妙面容
世俗事必將變成虛空 在祂榮耀恩典的光中
